These terms cover your use of this website and the web app run by Desaepa Vansauwa for Mayor. By using the site, you agree to them.

Who runs this site

This website is operated by Desaepa Vansauwa for Mayor (“the campaign,” “we,” “us”), the campaign of Desaepa Vansauwa, an independent candidate for Mayor of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. It exists to share the candidate’s positions, campaign news and election information, and to let residents reach the campaign.

This is a political campaign website. It is not an official website of the City of Hopkinsville or any government office, and nothing on it is an official act or statement of the City.

Using the site

You may use the site for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. Please do not:

  • interfere with the site, its security, or other people’s use of it;
  • try to access areas, accounts or data you are not authorized to use, including the staff portal;
  • use automated tools in a way that burdens or disrupts the site;
  • impersonate the candidate, the campaign, or anyone else; or
  • send messages that are threatening, harassing, unlawful or spam.

We may restrict access for anyone who misuses the site.

Messages you send us

When you send a message through Leave a Comment, you are responsible for what it says. The campaign team will read it, may reply using the contact details you provide, and may keep it to inform the campaign’s work. We will not publish your name or message without your permission.

Please do not send passwords, financial account numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive personal information through the site.

Campaign content

The text, photos, graphics and design of this site belong to the campaign or are used with permission. You are welcome to share links and to quote the site for news, commentary and discussion, as long as you do not alter it in a misleading way or suggest the campaign endorses you, your organization or a product.

Election information

We work to keep dates and voting information accurate, but deadlines and procedures are set by election officials and can change. Always confirm with the Christian County Clerk or the Kentucky State Board of Elections before relying on a date.

Donations are processed by Zeffy, an independent payment platform, through its own secure form. Zeffy’s terms and privacy policy apply to that form. Our Contribution Policy explains the rules that apply to campaign contributions.

The site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
